1 Or 2 Vintage Brass Put Take Dice Top Dreidel SpinnerI offer for sale two very collectible vintage brass put 'n' take dreidels, or spinners/tops. Important i am selling one each, to the highest bidder, and selling a total of 2 in htis auction. Bid on one or two, if you like, but each winning bid will be for one top only.
This will be claerly spelled out when bidding on this dutch auction. (or see examples at end fo this narrative. ). Like the old put 'n' take dice, the roll of the dreidel will direct you to either put into the kitty, or to take from the kitty.
These spinners aer hard to find. They are solid brass, and are stamped iwth take one, take two, take all, put one, put two, and all put. All put here is meant that everyone ante's up again into the pot.
Back when i played the game with dice, however, a p and an a meant that you put all. That is, the roller matched the pot! aMde for some sweaty foreheads, as you can imagine, since the pot would then double. Play it any way you wish!
These put-n-takes will make a fine addition to either your dice, toy, or gambling collection(s). Each piece is slightly over 1â¼ (31mm) long and weighs 19.75 grams. I can mail one or both pieces via first class mali (within the lower 48 states) in a padded mailer for only $1.64. I'll use priority mali if requested, and the rate will depend on the destination from zip code 60193.
Payment by paypalâ (at no cost to the buyer and ships immediately), m. O. /cashier's check, or personal check. Please allow 2 weeks for clearance of personal check. International bidders are welcome, with the understand that the winner will pay (including actual postage only) in u.
S. Funds. Combien auctions to save on postage. Feel free to email me with any questions. Please utilize ebay's feedback system, as it allows for a buyer's or seller's true integrity ot be examined. Thank you for looking at ym auction. Dutch auction. Exapmle 1.
Two items are up fro sale. The satrting price is $5.75. Bidder a places a bid for one piece at $10.
No noe else bids. Bidder a wins the auction at $5.75 for one piece. Example 2. wTo items are up for sale.
Bidder a places a bid for two pieces at $10 each. No one else bids. Bidder a wins the auction at $10 per piece. It will not matter what the starting price is.
Example 3. Two items are up for sale. Bidder a places a bid for two pieces at $10 each. Bidder b places a last second bid for $15 for one piece. Bidder a wins the auction for one piece at $10 and bidder b wins the auction for one piece at $10. Why? The lowest winning bid (in this case $10) will always set the price in a dutch auction. Now, bidder a can ask for a second piece from the seller, but the seller is under no obligation (but may want to sell a escond one to the bidder, if he/she has stock). What to take from this discussionin a dutch auction for n items, if you have high bid at $1000 for each item and bid on the entire quantity (n), you will pay $1000n if you win. It will not matter if the next highest bid was only $10. Again, the lowest winning bid will be the actual selling price for each item! Ask me if you still don't get it and would like to bid. I'll be happy to explain it, as i ifnd dutch auctions to be quite fun, from both sides of the transactions! If you do not understand how this works but still want to bid, i'd advise bidding on only one item. Please contact me before the auction if you want/need two, and want further clarification. Thanks. |
